For maximum performance, plug the device into an outlet at the center of the area you want to protect, 20–80 cm above the floor, with its front unobstructed. There should be no obstacles such as a sofa or cabinet in front of it that would block the signal.

Our mouse and pest repeller models are engineered to operate at frequencies outside the hearing range of pets such as cats, dogs, birds and fish. The devices contain no poison, chemicals or odor. Only if you keep rodent pets such as hamsters, rabbits or guinea pigs — since these species may be sensitive to the target frequencies — do we recommend using the device in a separate room from where they live.

The protective shield activates the moment the device is plugged in. However, for pests already nesting indoors to leave the space entirely usually takes 2 to 4 weeks (30 days), depending on their nesting and breeding cycles.

The upper limit of human hearing is 20 kHz. Our devices emit ultrasonic (silent) waves well above this limit. Because they contain no poison, chemicals or odor, they can be used safely even in homes with babies.

The deterrent effect lasts only while the device is running; unplugging it stops the ultrasonic emission. Since the goal is permanent, continuous protection, we recommend keeping the device plugged in at all times. Its energy use is on par with a small night light, so running it 24/7 makes no noticeable difference on your electricity bill.

Ultrasonic waves cannot pass through obstacles such as walls, shelves and partitions; they spread by reflecting. In large, partitioned spaces, planning a separate unit for each independent section is therefore more effective than a single device. For warehouses, workshops and industrial facilities, high-coverage models like the TP-1000 or a custom installation plan can be considered; just share the scale of your facility and we'll help you find the right combination.
